Military krav maga in General 

In 1948, when the state of Israel was born, David Ben Gurion decided to disband all the resistance organizations that were opposing the British Mandate and the local Arab population, and establish the new country's army – The Israeli Defense Force (IDF). It was only natural, that the head of melee-training from one of the resistance organizations would be appointed and teach physical education and army melee.

 

That man was Imi Lichtenfeld.

 

Imi had to provide solutions for obstacles and difficulties that a soldier might face in the battle field, such as rope climbing with weight, landing safely from a high jump, taking down an enemy guard and using the rifle as a cold weapon (when you can't or would rather refrain from firing).

 

Krav Maga was originally developed for the military; therefore it had to accommodate its needs: it had to be taught to anyone and in a short period of time. Because of this the techniques and the way of teaching are an integral part of the system: they cannot be separated.

A soldier is warrior, i.e. a tool to be used by a country for its protection, to preserve the wellbeing and normal way of life of its population and to protect the country's interests.

Military Instructor Course (MIC)

General Information

 

The MIC is a unique program  conducted solely by the IKMF.

 

The Course is designated for Krav Maga instructors as well as individuals with military & Law enforcement background.

 

The course will be conducted in Israel during 18.10.2012 until 28.10.2012.

 

Total duration of the course: 10 days.

 

Costs:

Total Cost early bird: 1790 Euro.
Standard Cost : 1990 Euro
Late registration (two weeks before start date): 2190 Euro.

 

Cost includes: Training & accommodation (Full board).

 

Location: Caesarea Sea Center 

Course Contents

 

Part 1: Antiterrorism: The first seven days of the program will include various subjects listed below. A full day will be dedicated to each of the following:

 

·         Advanced Pistol Training

 

·         Advanced Rifle Training (Paintball)

 

·         Advanced Defensive Driving (Car Rage)

 

·         Tactical Fighting

 

·         Obstacle course

 

·         Group Missions and Navigation runs.

 

·         Military oriented Krav Maga.

Part 2: Over The last two days of the course the participants will be divided into two groups:

 

1.       Krav Maga Instructors: member of this group will proceed in elected Krav Maga methodology and instructor's training.

 

2.       Security forces individuals (without Krav Maga background): members of this group will privilege from further extreme Krav Maga aggression training.

 

 

All learned material will be tested based on competition between the participants.

It is recomended participants arrive on the afternoon/ evening of October 18th & their Departure.
Your stay at the hotel on October 18th is already included in the total program costs.
Should your flight constraints require you to extend your stay  kindly notify IKMF HQ  beforehand.

Participants interested in further private Training with our GIT instructors are welcome, pending IKMF HQ confirmation and GIT availability.
